Buyer's Guide

Buying your first toy is mostly a material and sizing decision, not a features contest. Here is the short version we wish every listing told you.

1. Material decides everything else

Body-safe silicone is the default choice: non-porous, easy to clean, warms to body temperature. Avoid jelly, PVC and TPR blends — they are porous and leach plasticisers. ABS plastic is fine for rigid parts and bullets.

2. Match lube to material

Silicone toys pair with water-based lube. Silicone-based lube degrades silicone toys over time; it is fine with glass, metal and ABS.

3. Size before power

For insertables, start smaller than you think. A toy that is comfortable gets used; one that is too large does not. Anal toys must always have a flared base.

4. Cleaning routine

Warm water plus a dedicated toy cleaner before and after each use. Dry fully before storage, keep silicone toys separated from each other to avoid surface bonding, and never share without cleaning.

5. Power and noise

Rechargeable toys beat battery models on both power consistency and long-term cost. If noise matters, look for listings that state decibel levels — under 50 dB is quiet enough for most shared walls.

6. Discretion and returns

Every order ships in plain packaging with a neutral sender name. Unopened items can be returned within 30 days — see our refund policy.
